About

Connected with  Nature

In ancient times, Tokugawa Ieyasu stayed here for hot spring therapy, and in recent years, it has been a beloved destination for numerous cultural figures such as Tsubouchi Shoyo, Tanizaki Jun’ichiro, and Kawabata Yasunari. This historic hot spring town is known as “Atami.”

Among these, Minaguchi-cho is a place that has been deeply rooted in Atami’s history, home to Tsubouchi Shoyo’s villa and cemetery.

In this historic Minaguchi-cho district of Atami, ASNOVA Design Co., Ltd. has unveiled a new vacation rental concept.

ASNOVA RESORT / FLORES ATAMI – Flores Atami –

Flores means “flowers.”
Blooming “flowers” and countless “fireworks” lighting up the night sky.

The purple flowers of Jacaranda and Chaste tree, which are abundant on Atami’s beaches, add a resort-like atmosphere.
From the living room and bedrooms, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Atami’s fireworks, enhanced by the original glass art “Luminous/Fireworks,” inspired by the fireworks created by artist “Iino Naho.”

The spacious interior, spanning approximately 200 square meters, offers a breathtaking view of the clear blue sky and Atami Bay. The outdoor terrace connected to the living room features a heated pool that can be enjoyed for three seasons.

The hot spring water, renowned for its healing properties and mentioned in the ancient “Man’yōshū” poetry collection, is specially delivered to the facility from the famous “Yugawara” hot spring.

A private sauna is also available to relax both mind and body.

Just a 30-minute ride from Tokyo by bullet train, this is an ultimate resort experience.

Experience

01 / Architecture

A resort-like design born in a historic location

The spacious room, spanning approximately 200 square meters, features a 60-square-meter living/dining area and three uniquely designed bedrooms, accommodating up to 10 adults.

The design concept is “Connected with Nature.”
The terrace, which connects the living area to the pool and the sea, allows you to feel connected to nature and experience the rich seasons of Atami.
Enjoy the spacious living area and pool with family and friends, feel connected, savor the resort atmosphere, and find relaxation and rejuvenation in this special space.

The facility’s name, “Flowers,” is the theme, with purple-hued flowers such as jacaranda and Chaste tree, which are abundant in Atami, adding seasonal color. Artist “Iino Naho” has created an original glass art piece titled “Luminous/Fireworks,” inspired by Atami’s famous fireworks, exclusively for this facility to welcome guests. This is a new proposal for a “new resort” emerging in Atami Suiguchi Town, a historic resort area with a long-standing tradition.

02 / Onsen & Sauna

Renowned hot spring and private sauna

The hot spring water we provide is sourced exclusively for our facility from Yugawara Onsen, the only hot spring in the Kanto region mentioned in the Man’yōshū, Japan’s oldest collection of poetry, and has long been renowned for its therapeutic properties. Rich in gypsum, it is highly effective for skin rejuvenation and offers exceptional thermal benefits, warming the body to its core and retaining heat for an extended period. Soaking in the water allows you to sweat profusely even in winter, long after you emerge.

The bathhouse features a private sauna with a self-service steam function and a cold plunge pool. Enjoy the renowned hot springs and sauna to rejuvenate both body and mind.

To maintain the quality of the hot spring water, we perform circulation filtration and disinfection. There is no outdoor cooling area. Please use the fans and chairs in the changing room.

03 / View & Pool

View overlooking AtamiBay and private heated pool

The spacious 60-square-meter living/dining room connects to the terrace, offering an unobstructed view of the Atami fireworks. Surrounded by mountains, the fireworks create a surround sound effect, making them truly spectacular.

The terrace also features a 3-season outdoor heated pool (9.4m x 2.0m).

Outdoor terrace dining is not permitted.
※The pool is heated, but as an outdoor facility, the water temperature will be approximately 5°C above the outside temperature.
For safety reasons, the pool cannot be used when the outside temperature is below 20°C.
